What's inside

Thaw & cook notes

  • Thaw overnight in the fridge.
  • Remove fish from its vacuum packaging before thawing, unless the label says otherwise.
  • Never thaw on the counter.
  • Pat seafood dry before cooking for the best sear.

Family seafood boil

One pot, a lined table and everyone digging in.

Ingredients

  • Argentine shrimp from the box, thawed
  • Scallops and lobster tails from the box, thawed
  • 1.5 lb baby potatoes
  • 4 ears of corn, halved
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay or Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted with 4 garlic cloves

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil with the seasoning and lemon.
  2. Add potatoes and cook 10 minutes, then add corn and sausage for 5 minutes.
  3. Add lobster tails for 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and scallops for the final 2–3 minutes, until just opaque.
  5. Drain, spread over a lined table and pour over the garlic butter.
